Plain-English summary: we make cute 3D-printable fidget toys and the web tools that generate them. Use our free models for personal projects, get a paid membership (Patreon, or a plan inside our apps) for commercial use, only upload artwork you have the rights to, remember that anything you share to a public gallery is public, and print at your own risk. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cozy Clickers website at cozyclickers.com, our applications, and our 3D models and files (together, the "Services"). Our applications currently include the Clicker Generator (generate.cozyclickers.com), the Can Opener Generator (canopener.cozyclickers.com), the Cozy Top Generator (cozytop.cozyclickers.com), and the Fridge Magnet Generator (magnets.cozyclickers.com), together with any other generator app we run on a cozyclickers.com subdomain — we launch new ones regularly, and these Terms cover them too. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
The Services are operated by Suri and Allen Huang, trading as "Cozy Clickers" ("we", "us", "our"), a small independent 3D design studio. You can reach us any time at hello@cozyclickers.com.
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Services. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Most Apps need an account. Depending on the App, you can sign in with Patreon, Google, Apple, or a one-time link sent to your email address. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in method and email account secure, and for everything done through your account.
Accounts are personal: don't share your account, your sign-in link, or your member access with anyone else. If you think someone else has got into your account, email us at hello@cozyclickers.com. You can ask us to close your account at any time — see our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Models as follows, depending on where you obtained them:
In all cases you may not: resell, share, sub-license, or redistribute the digital Model files themselves; claim authorship of our designs; or use our designs in a way that is unlawful, misleading, or harmful to the Cozy Clickers brand. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
Some Apps, or certain features of them (such as downloading generated files), require an active paid membership — either a Cozy Clickers Patreon membership or a subscription plan purchased in the App — and remain subject to that membership staying active. We provide the Apps on an "as available" basis and may add, change, suspend, or discontinue any App or feature at any time. We aim to keep generated files print-ready, but results depend on your printer, materials, and settings.
Apps and features are often released as beta or early access, sometimes limited to members or invited testers. Beta features may be incomplete, may change, and may be withdrawn or re-gated without notice, and files generated with them may differ from later versions. Where a plan includes priority support, we will do our best to reply quickly, but we don't guarantee a response time.
You keep ownership of Your Content. By uploading or creating Your Content, you confirm that:
You grant us a limited license to process and transform Your Content solely to provide the App's functionality to you (for example, to generate your customised file and, where applicable, save it to your account so you can re-download it). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it to create products we sell. The underlying base designs, geometry, and software that power the Apps remain our property, and the file you generate combines our base with Your Content for your own use under the license in Section 6.
Some Apps let you publish a design to a public gallery or leaderboard. Sharing is always your choice — you can use every App without ever sharing anything. If you do share a design:
We may hide or remove any Shared Design, at our discretion and without notice, if we consider it unlawful, infringing, offensive, spam, or otherwise in breach of these Terms — and we may suspend accounts that repeatedly post such content. If you believe a Shared Design infringes your rights, email hello@cozyclickers.com with the link and the details, and we will review it.
The Services, including our Models, base designs, software, brand name, logo, text, and images, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited licenses described above, nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.
Patreon memberships are offered and billed through Patreon, not directly by us. Your membership, billing, renewals, and cancellations are governed by Patreon's own terms in addition to these Terms. Tier names, perks, and prices may change; we will reflect material changes on our site and/or Patreon page.
App subscription plans are billed by our payment processor, Stripe. Each plan is specific to the App you bought it in — a subscription to one generator does not unlock the others unless we say so. Each plan's price, billing period, and inclusions (such as monthly download allowances and commercial licensing) are shown on that App's pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel yours at any time from your account page in the App, which opens Stripe's billing portal, and you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Plan names, perks, and prices may change — changes take effect from your next billing period.
Because a subscription gives you immediate access to digital files, we don't generally refund time that has already elapsed. If something goes wrong, email us — we would much rather sort it out. Nothing here affects any mandatory statutory rights you have as a consumer (see Section 19).
You agree not to: use the Services for any unlawful purpose; reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our source files or underlying Models other than as expressly permitted; resell or share access to member-only Apps or features; upload artwork you don't have the rights to; interfere with or disrupt the Services; circumvent usage limits, rate limits, or membership gates; or use automated systems to access the Services in a way that harms them or other users.
The Services, Models, and Apps are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. 3D printing carries inherent risks — printer operation, heat, moving parts, and materials can cause injury or damage, and printed results vary. You are responsible for safe printing and for supervising any minors or others who use printed items.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Services. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law — including, for consumers in the European Union, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any mandatory statutory rights.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and reasonable costs arising out of your misuse of the Services, your breach of these Terms, or Your Content or a Shared Design infringing the rights of a third party.
The Services link to and rely on third parties such as Patreon, Stripe, MakerWorld, Google, and Apple. We are not responsible for their content, products, or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms. Our handling of your data, and the providers we rely on, are described in our Privacy Policy.
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Services, and remove or hide your Shared Designs, if you breach these Terms or use the Services in a way that may cause harm or legal liability. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be reflected on this page. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and the courts of Portugal will have jurisdiction over any disputes. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer-protection rights of the country where you live, and nothing in these Terms removes those rights. You may also have access to the EU's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
