Who we are
Cozy Clickers is a small 3D design studio operated by Suri and Allen Huang. This site (cozyclickers.com) is our brand hub and gateway to our MakerWorld and Patreon pages. We also build generator apps — web tools that turn a picture you upload into a 3D-printable model. Those apps need more data than this site in order to work, so they have their own section below.
What this policy covers
What the marketing site collects
On cozyclickers.com we collect a minimal amount of data to understand traffic and improve the experience:
- Analytics data via Google Analytics 4 — pages viewed, approximate location (city/country), device type, referrer, time on page, and anonymized identifiers.
- Advertising data via Google Ads — if you reach the site from a Google ad, Google may set a click identifier (
gclid) so we can measure which ads led to clicks and conversions.
- Outbound click events — when you click links to our Patreon, MakerWorld, Instagram, or one of our apps, we record that the click happened (but not who you are).
On this marketing site we do not collect names, email addresses, or payment information. Patreon and MakerWorld handle their own data per their own privacy policies.
What our generator apps collect
Our generator apps turn a picture and a set of knobs into a printable 3D model. Exactly what applies depends on the app and on what you use it for, but across all of them we collect and store:
- Images you upload and your design settings. These are stored when you generate or preview a design — including before you download anything — so the tool can work and so we can reproduce and fix problems. Identical uploads are de-duplicated, and stored images are deleted automatically on a rolling schedule (see “How long we keep things”).
- Account and sign-in details. Depending on the app you can sign in with Patreon, Google, Apple, or a one-time link emailed to you. We store the account identifier, your name, and your email address from that provider — and, for Patreon, your membership tier and status — so we can apply your plan and monthly download allowance. Emailed sign-in links are stored only as a one-way hash, are single-use, and expire quickly; the usable link exists only in your inbox.
- Subscription details, if you buy a paid plan: your email address, the plan you chose, your subscription status and renewal date, and your Stripe customer/subscription identifiers. Payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
- Usage and technical data: the actions you take (preview, generate, download), the design settings sent, timestamps, whether the request succeeded, and your IP address — used for debugging, to prevent abuse (rate limiting), and to count downloads against your allowance.
- Saved projects, if you choose to save one: your uploaded image, settings, and a small preview thumbnail, so you can reload the design later. You can delete a saved project in the app at any time.
- Designs you share publicly. Some apps have a public gallery. If you choose to share a design, its 3D preview, thumbnail, settings, and title become visible to anyone with the link — note the title defaults to your upload's filename, so rename it if that's personal. We also store the creator's account id and IP address for moderation and abuse handling. You can delete your own shares; we can hide anything that breaks our Terms.
- Support requests and bug reports you send from inside an app: your message, your contact email, the page you were on, your browser's user-agent string, and the design you were working on (so we can reproduce the issue). These are emailed to our support inbox.
The apps also run Google Analytics 4, the same as the marketing site.
Cookies
- Essential: if you sign in to an app, a session cookie keeps you signed in. It can't be turned off while you're using an account.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4, on both the marketing site and the apps.
- Advertising: Google Ads, on the marketing site.
You can disable analytics and advertising cookies in your browser settings, opt out via the Google Analytics Opt-out Add-on, or use ad-blocking software.
How we use your data
- Run the generator apps and produce the model you asked for.
- Verify membership and apply plans and monthly download limits.
- Diagnose and fix problems, and improve the tools.
- Prevent abuse (rate limiting) and moderate publicly shared designs.
- Answer your support requests.
- Understand which pages and designs people are interested in, and measure our Google Ads campaigns.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your uploaded images for advertising, and we do not use them to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the service providers that make the site and apps run:
- Google — Analytics 4 and Google Ads.
- Stripe — subscription payments and billing.
- Patreon, Google, and Apple — sign-in, and only if you choose that option.
- Resend — sending sign-in links and support emails.
- Railway — hosting and the database behind the generator apps.
- Hostinger — hosting for cozyclickers.com.
We don't share your data with anyone else.
How long we keep things
- Uploaded images and usage logs: deleted automatically on a rolling window — currently 30 days — unless they're attached to a saved project or a share.
- Saved projects and shared designs: until you delete them (or we remove a share for breaking our Terms).
- Account and subscription records: for as long as you have an account, plus whatever we're required to keep for tax and accounting.
- Emailed sign-in links: minutes — they're deleted the moment they're used.
- Support requests: kept so we have the history of your issue.
- Analytics data: per Google's own retention settings.
Your rights
If you're in the EU, UK, or California, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. In practice:
- On the marketing site, the practical step is opting out of analytics (above).
- In the apps, you can delete your saved projects and your public shares yourself, at any time.
- For anything else — your account, uploaded images, usage records, support history — email us and we'll delete it. If you used a tool without signing in, tell us roughly when and we can find and remove those records by IP address.
- For data held by Patreon, MakerWorld, Stripe, Google, or Apple, please contact them directly.
Children
Our sites and apps aren't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us data, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change and revise the “last updated” date above. Material changes to how we handle data in the apps will be announced in the app.
